Activities
Thanks to the various planned activities related to the purpose of the project, we hope to reach the project’s objectives. Activities are correlated with their purpose and objectives in terms of expected results.
First of all, we have planned various activities in order to raise the participants’ interest towards child abuse and neglect, thus aiming at them getting the main idea of the topic in partner organizations.
Out of school, the project will offer a unique opportunity for participants to search for ways of reducing the
child abuse and neglect in European Union and Turkey through various activities organized during project meetings. The participants will obtain a global view of the partner countries on the topic.
In the same time, they will raise awareness and involvement in issues of global interest and develop care for one’s own and others through advertising campaigns, various events organized inside and outside the institution.
As students will organize Teen Voice Dais, they will develop some skills like transversal skills, the sense of initiative, self-confidence and entrepreneurship. This activity will challenge students to overcome their limits, to develop their capacity to explore/investigate the reality, their analytical, social and problemsolving skills as well as 21st century skills.
As students will take part in designing some materials like project logo, brochures, flyers, posters, etc., they will improve ICT and visual skills. Owing to the discussions, social networks, and eTwinning, they will exchange ideas, improve intercultural dialogue, transcultural skills and foreign language competence. During the project, they will visit some
universities, Child protective services and NGOs to promote, broaden their point of view and extend the knowledge and understanding of phenomena related to child abuse and neglect.
